Overseeing 50 plus musicians, dancers, stage hands and crew in a live show like Cal's is not an easy task. Add to that, the job of supervising every aspect at the technical end of the production (lighting, wiring, sets, moving musicians on and off stage safely, etc.), and you need a genuine miracle worker. That's where Chris Price comes in.

Having come to Cal's team little over a year ago, Chris with his experience and innovative ideas quickly proved himself invaluable to the production and staff. As if designing the shows custom built sets, lighting rigs and making sure that everything runs smoothly weren't enough to do, Chris also worked along side Neil Rogers-Reo, editing Cal's upcoming television special, "Forever and Beyond."

"I was first introduced to Christopher Price by a mutual friend while I was filming a television commercial for one of the concerts. We didn't have much time to speak but I was impressed with how much he knew about the mechanics and dynamics of live performance. I asked him to please take a look at my plans for the upcoming tour and let me know what he thought.

A week or so later, he called me and we got together to see what he had come up with. I don't think he had even gotten through explaining his first page of notes when I asked " can you start tomorrow?"

In the time since then, he has literally become the backbone of the production team. A wonderful guy and a great friend, I could not imagine the show going on without him there in the wings.

Cal
