" When I knew we were going ahead with filming the show, I had no idea as to who I would be able to get or trust to handle the most important part of the show; the sound. I had met Mike Scott when he was doing the audio at one of my daughter's shows. I knew nothing about him or his impressive credentials at that time, only that I liked the way that he meticulously approached his work. We met over breakfast one morning and I pitched him the project. He was curious but needed to come to a rehearsal and see for himself what it was that I was doing before he would commit to anything. The following week, Mike came to our rehearsal. We ran through "Forever" and "Desert Dance" for him and he did not say a thing. After a few minutes he asked me to step outside for a minute. Now I was nervous, this guy on board would be the icing on the cake! We walked out to his car just him and I, still not saying a thing. He opened his car, sat down , closed the door then rolled down the window and said " let's get to work." In the weeks following the shows, as we got into post production on the audio, I got to first hand watch the "Wizard" at work and see why he was given the name. It was an honor to work beside him. Thanks Mike.
